En Dash

En dashes (–) are the medium length grammatical line character which are used to 1) specify time ranges or 2) join two-word adjective phrases describing a noun.

  1. Time range Ex: I learned so many things from the time I was born to the time I am writing this (2005–2025).
  2. Adjective Ex: I like to have soft glowing-like light for portraits.
